Year 2 have been working hard for the Nativity show. Cherry and Willow class have been learning their lines, singing the songs and practising the actions. Each day our performance is getting better and better!

Willow class also had a special visitor on Monday… Father John!
He came to share the Gospel of Luke.
Elizabeth and Zechariah
Luke 1:5-19.
He spoke of the story of Elizabeth who was also pregnant at the same time as Mary. Both Elizabeth and Zechariah were very old and they were never able to have any children. In this passage, an angel tells Zechariah that he and Elizabeth are going to have a baby and to name him John.
Year 2 know the story extremely well and have also been learning about the Annunciation and Visitation in RE.
Thank you for all your support with practising the lines with them at home, bringing in costumes and listening to them singing the songs.
