In R.E, we have been learning about our Wonderful World and the children have been taking pictures themselves of the wonderful world that surrounds us. We talked about how we can look after our world such as turning the lights off in the classroom we they’re not needed, walking more to school and making sure we pick up all rubbish off the floor.
The main excitement this week has been transition day! The children had a special visit from Reception children to help answer any questions they had about being in Reception. The Nursery children went up into Reception (either at SSAS or other settings) and got to explore the classrooms and outside space and meet their new teachers. The children loved the day and said their favourite parts were the “building site”, “climbing frame” and “jelly!”
