This week we have been ‘drawing with scissors’, in the style of Matisse. We painted sheets of paper and then cut out shapes to create our own artwork. We thought about some of the learning that we have been doing in Year 4, and tried to link our artwork to these themes. Our themes included Rainforest art, Maths symbols, the story ‘Leon and the Place Between’ and many more! We are really proud of our artwork.
Before the half term, Year 4 also had the opportunity to take part in a gardening afternoon, with Miss Sofia. The children planed sunflower seeds and looked at signs of Spring in our school environment.
