| As part of our celebrations for the feast of St Alban, we produced beautiful artwork for St Albans Abbey Cathedral, stained glass window showing St Albans and bunting in the colour of the St Albans flag.
Notan We have been exploring different styles of Japanese artwork. This week we looked at Notan which is a design idea that focusses on the amount of light and dark space within the artwork and where these areas are placed in relation to each other. The word ‘Notan’ literally means ‘light-dark balance’.
Origami We thoroughly enjoyed making assorted origami.
Please can all children bring their P.E. kit in on a Monday which is to be left in school until Friday when it’s to be taken home for washing. We are collecting Actimel style yogurt pots for our next Japenese Art lesson. Thank you for those we have already, please continue to send these in and spares are most welcome!
