On Wednesday, some of the choir attended a carol service at the Abbey with lots of other schools from St Albans. The children had learnt some Christmas songs as well as some traditional carols that they sang altogether. The Priest reminded us that Christmas is all about celebrating Jesus’ birthday, and each school presented a card from each character of the Christmas story. Our angels, Nicole and Charlotte, accompanied by Sara, did a wonderful job and we all sang Happy Birthday to Jesus at the end. It was a wonderful way to start this festive season.
Our children were also complimented on their lovely manners! Well done to everyone who came – your singing was beautiful as always!
