On Friday, Father John and our Pupil Chaplaincy Team led our Harvest Festival celebrations on the upper and lower site. The Pupil Chaplaincy Team spoke about why we have a Harvest Festival and acted out the Gospel Story of the Parable of the Sower. Father John spoke to us about how we can make good choices to help others, remembering the Bible verse, ‘Love your neighbour as yourself’. Everyone enjoyed singing some of our favourite Harvest songs like ‘Harvest Samba’ and ‘Cauliflowers Fluffy’ to praise God for all the good things which He has given us.
It was lovely to see all the food and toiletries generously donated by school families. These will be collected by the St Albans Foodbank this week. Thank you to everyone who followed Jesus’ example by donating food to help the poor and vulnerable.
Why not pray some of these Harvest prayers with your family over the coming week?
