This week, Year 4 learned about fair trade as part of our Geography topic ‘World Kitchen’. We had an online presentation from the Fairtrade organisation and learned how farmers and other workers are paid fairly when their produce is marked with the logo. We had the opportunity to ask questions to develop our understanding and learned about how important this scheme is. Then, we designed and created our own colourful posters to raise awareness of this important issue around the school. Look at our amazing work!
