On Friday, we said goodbye to our School Crossing Patrol, Mr Jackson. Through sunshine, rain, wind and snow, Mr Jackson has helped us to cross the busy road safely every morning and every afternoon over the past few years. His cheery smiles and high-fives always made the day seem a little brighter.
During a special assembly on the lower site, the children presented Mr Jackson with cards, presents and even a special card in the shape of a lollipop sign made by Reception! We sang him a song and wished him the best of luck in his retirement.
Mr Jackson said that we are the best school that he has ever worked with, and he has loved getting to know the parents and children in our friendly school community.
Mr Jackson is an example to us all of our school values of determination and friendship, and we will really miss him.
