As part of our topic on Rocks, Soils and Fossils in science, we learnt how fossils are formed in sedimentary rocks and what can they tell us about the ancient creatures and plants that once lived on Earth. Children used clay to create their own fossils of plants and animals. It was a great activity to learn how imprints of plants and animals get preserved in the earth.
