Advent – A time for preparation
This week EYFS enjoyed a beautiful Advent assembly, led by Mrs. Porter. The children really enjoyed learning about the significance of each candle and they learnt a new Advent song.
We have also been busy preparing for our Christmas performance to you all! A video link will be shared next week for you to view the entire Nativity performance, but you will be able to come and watch the Nativity songs being sung next –
Tuesday 14th December
Nursery at 9.30am – Parents, please wait in the Main Hall after drop-off and you will be escorted to the Amphitheatre.
Reception at 10am – Parents, please access the Lower site through the Nursery gate on the Alban Way and make your way to the Year One playground.
We shall then have a Christmas Party celebration in EYFS to celebrate our performances. The children will wear their Christmas jumpers and bring them home, ready for Thursday.
Thursday 16th December – Christmas Lunch for Reception Children & Christmas Jumper Day –
Please send your child into school, wearing their Christmas Jumper.
Friday 17th December – Final half day of Autumn 2:
Nursery children – Morning children to finish at 11.45am / Afternoon children 1.20pm.
Reception children – All finish at 1.20pm
