We have embarked on our topic of human biology in Year 3. We kicked this off by drawing around our friends and filling in the “bodies” with some of the bones we know. We added labels, naming the bones as well. You can see in the photos what fun we had!
We celebrated Ash Wednesday mass together this week and the children greatly impressed us by the reverence they showed during the service. We have done lots of work together on the start of the Liturgical season of Lent. Do ask your child about it and ask about their Lenten promises too.
Finally, this afternoon we have discovered the calming power of needlework! After a very busy week it was wonderful to welcome so many parent volunteers into school to help the children with their design and technology projects. A massive thank you from all the staff here in Year 3 to our wonderful helpers!
