Year 4 have been ‘Drawing with Scissors’, a style introduced by Henri Matisse. We designed our creations, linked to learning throughout Year 4, and cut painted sheets of paper freehand to create positive and negative cutouts. Like Matisse, we used bright colours and organic shapes in our work. As you can see, we worked with great concentration and are really proud of our Art.
We have also been learning about why the Sacrament of Reconciliation is important to Christians. These are some of the leaflets we have produced to explain our learning.
