This week, the children in Year 4 had great fun testing the catapults that they made. We found out that the paper ball missiles travelled further than pompoms. Some children adapted their designs and every one made a catapult that worked!
In English we wrote explanations about imaginary machines that we designed ourselves and we are now writing explanations about our catapults.
Hazel and Beech classes led a beautiful ‘Welcome Mass’ at St Alban and St Stephen Church, on Wednesday. The children showed confidence when reading and sang with great enthusiasm. We were really proud of how prayerful the children were throughout the Mass and how well they behaved. Thank you to all the parents who walked with the children to the church.
