The highlight of our final week of Autumn 1 was our local trip to Clarence Park.
Thanks to all our kind volunteers, we were able to walk to Clarence Park, which brought our Geography learning to life. We have been looking at maps of the local area and planned a safe route to walk. We also completed our Science learning as we have been using our senses all this half term. On our journey to the park and once inside the park we were able to use our sense of sight to see all the signs of Autumn. We collected many natural things, such as conkers and leaves and looked very carefully for squirrels and birds, as well as berries and mushrooms.
We wish all our Year 1 families a great half term break and we look forward to a fresh start Monday 30th October for Autumn 2.
