In Year 2 this week we have been continuing to learn about Hong Kong.
We found out that in Hong Kong, Chinese New Year is a very important celebration. People mark the occasion with modern fun and ancient customs.
In class, we made our own dragon and lion masks to mark the occasion. First we designed our masks and then we transferred the design on to card. We painted these with fiery colours and then added tissue paper.
