The St Albans and St. Stephen’s Catholic Primary School Pupil Chaplains and Prayer Leaders attended a celebration Mass today at St. Albans Cathedral to mark 40 years of the Catholic Mass being celebrated at the Abbey. The Mass was very well attended by regular parishioners, special invited guests who had attended the original Mass forty years ago as well as our wonderful Pupil Chaplains and Prayer Leaders. All the children were a credit to our school; they sat beautifully listening to the readings and Homily and celebrated Mass reverently. Several parishioners commented at the end of Mass at how well the children sat and joined in with the Mass.
Many thanks to all their Parents for allowing them to attend and a special thank you to the Parents who were able to accompany us on the walk to and from the Abbey.
