Each year in September, St Teresa’s House celebrate the feast-day of their patron saint, St Teresa of Calcutta. St Teresa reminds us of our school values of faith and unity. Throughout her life, St Teresa helped the poor and vulnerable from every race and faith.
Our liturgy was led by the Year 6 members of St Teresa’s house. We all wore something in our house colour, yellow, and wrote down on yellow hearts the ways that we will follow Mother Teresa’s example and help others. Father John spoke to us about how we can serve others even when it is difficult, whether we are at home or at school.
He reminded us especially of Mother Teresa’s words:
