Celebrating National Poetry Day

This week, the children at St Albans and St Stephens joined with many other children across the county to take part in the Gigantic Poetry lesson with Si Mole and Hertfordshire Libraries. Either as a class or individually, everyone from Year 1 to Year 6 wrote poems around the theme of “The Herd”, which fits in well with our school value of “Unity”.  We have seen some fantastic work across the school so below are a few examples!  Well done, everyone!
