This half term Year 3 are reading a new class book The Finger Eater by Dick King-Smith. In our lessons, we have been immersing ourselves in the world of the Far North, where Ulf the Troll terrorises the villagers by biting off their index fingers.
The children have enjoyed creating a ‘Wanted poster’ for Ulf warning people about his bad habit and advising them on how to behave if they meet him. They thought carefully about Ulf’s appearance and personality and used some fantastic adjectives to describe his features!
