We’ve come to the end of another busy week in Year 2. In our Computing topic, we were looking at debugging algorithms. We used bricks and had to give our partner instructions to make the same model we had made. If the model didn’t turn out as we wanted, we had to debug our instructions – improve them. We enjoyed playing this game and noticed how our instructions were improving.
In D&T we looked at ferris wheels and thought about the four parts they are made from – wheel, axle, support frame and pods. We’ve designed our own and are looking forward to making models of them in the coming weeks. We’ll make sure we post some pictures when they’re finished!
