It’s been another busy and exciting week here at school, and our Year Two children had a wonderful time participating in a special workshop. The focus of the workshop was on exploring feelings—an important topic for our little ones to better understand how feels portray in ourselves and how we can identify them.
Through a series of fun and engaging activities, the children learned about different emotions and how to handle them in healthy, productive ways. From creative exercises to thoughtful discussions, the session provided valuable tools for emotional awareness and regulation. It was a worthwhile, enjoyable experience for everyone. We are looking forward to our workshop next week where we shall explore toolkits to support regulating our emotions.
In English, we have also enjoyed our new story Flotsam, we have completed lots of writing with description and adjectives. In maths be have been learning about tally charts and blocks diagrams.
Today, we have also had our launch of the Jubilee Year of Hope; we found out we will be pilgrims this year giving hope to others as we grow on our own faith journey. There will be lots of wonderful occasions and activities that we can not wait to take part in.
