It’s been a busy week with R.E this week as we have been learning about the Judaism festival of Shavout. To commemorate this festival we have made flowers to decorate the classroom and also tried some cheesecake as lots of dairy food is consumed at this festival. Thursday was an important day in the Catholic calendar as it was Ascension. We talked about how Jesus went to heaven and we are getting ready for Pentecost.
Another exciting animal arrival this week as eggs have arrived and we have been watching them hatch and look forward to having the chicks in our classroom next week!
We are continuing on with our 2D shapes in Maths as the children have been making their own monsters using lots of different shapes. They have also worked hard on making pictures of houses whilst focusing on the different shapes they can use.
