Welcome back to Spring 2 in Reception. This half term, our theme is ‘Amazing Animals’. In this topic, we are going to be learning all about animals from all around the world. Our first focus text is ‘Giraffes Cant Dance’. We have been learning about giraffes and have written some informational words and sentences.
During CIL, we have loved creating our own animals using a range of materials. Can you guess which animals we have made?
In Maths, we have been learning about the composition of numbers. We have been using numicon to find a variety of ways to make the numbers 5 and 6.
