This week has been filled with lots of learning in Year 2! We kicked things off by retelling the enchanting story of ‘How to Catch a Star’. The children did a fabulous job using noun phrases, story language, and the conjunction “but” to bring their retellings to life. Be sure to have a look at some of our work!
In Maths, we focused on rebalancing to find the difference and even got to play some engaging games with our learning partners, which made it all the more fun. Our Science lesson was a blast as we investigated the properties of various materials—so much curiosity on display!
In Catholic Social Teaching, we learned about the importance of thinking of the poor and crafted a reverse Advent calendar. History was equally exciting as we explored the timeline of the Great Fire of London in preparation for our history day on Tuesday, 26th. We’re all looking forward to the exciting activities lined up for next week!
