Year 3 were treated to a special visit from site manager Mr Hodgson who came to talk to us about his previous career as a police officer. In our R.E. lessons we have been exploring the themes of ‘giving to’ and ‘taking from’ others. There are many jobs where being helpful, caring and supportive to others is very important and Mr Hodgson explained how these qualities were a big part of his role as a police officer.
In science we have been learning about the different types of skeletons there are such as endoskeletons, exoskeleton and hydrostatic skeletons. We went on a nature hunt to observe different organisms and classify them according to the type of skeleton they had.
