What a busy and very sunny week back ! In RE, we enjoyed learning and writing about our school saints. We have already earned some house points! We spoke about our school values and practiced the symbols that represent them as well as our mission statement ‘Learning and Growing with God by our Side’. We also considered why our school prayer was important. In Maths, we started the week by recapping our number bonds to 10. In English we read the story Paddington by Michael Bond. We learned lots of new vocabulary and we made our own freeze frames. It was a lot of fun pretending to be the characters in the story. Well done on your first week back we are excited to see all the fantastic work you will do this year.
