On Wednesday 7th June, we celebrated our traditional SSAS Green Day in an effort to raise awareness about the importance of protecting our planet. Catholic Social Teaching teaches us that we are stewards of God’s wonderful creation, and it is important to learn how to take care of the planet and the people, animals and plants who depend on it. The children took part in a number of fun activities including nature bingo, tree identification, yoga, weaving and many others. They have also enjoyed cycling to make their own smoothies. The children generated pedalling energy, which was then used to power a blender. It was great to get everyone active and refreshed!
