Year 5 delivered a beautiful and moving Passion Play to parents and children this week. In performances on Wednesday and Thursday to parents and children, the Year 5 classes acted out the Easter Story with respect and great maturity. Their wonderful play really brought home the true message of Easter to each of us, evoking an emotional response from many of us! We felt the anguish of our Lord and suffered the guilt with Judas, we cowered from the Roman soldiers and celebrated with the crowds in Jerusalem. All whilst enjoying the musical talents of our children. Each and every child sang their heart out, making it a very special afternoon for all involved. What a perfect end to the spring term.
On behalf of all the staff working in Year 5 we would like to wish our wonderful children and families a blessed and peaceful Easter. Take care and see you in the summer term. Oh and check out Google Classroom for a link to A Midsummer Night’s Dream – a preview of what will be in store for us in our first week back.
