We have had a busy week in Year 5!
As well as carrying out assessments in Maths and English this week, we have also been busy in other curriculum areas. In Design and Technology, we began looking at bridge structures with a view to making our own bridge in a couple of weeks time. We dissected flowers and identified the different parts in Science. We have drawn some fantastic oil pastel portraits of Jesus’ disciples showing their scared and frightened faces before the Holy Spirit was sent to give them courage.
Finally, we all enjoyed playing quick cricket in the sunshine earlier this week.
