Year 6 have been using IT in their music lessons to produce music inspired by Delia Derbyshire who arranged the original composition of the famous Dr. Who theme tune. The children used their own voices and ‘found sounds’ which they then manipulated using Garage Band to produce a sci-fi sound. The children’s work was incredible and they all rose to the challenge. Here are two examples of their work from Noah and Thomas named ‘Chicken Trooperz!’ and Emerald and Bernardo’s ‘Epic Space Sounds.’ You can certainly hear the Dr. Who inspiration in these pieces.
